Freedom

"For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others."
Nelson Mandela

Recent days witness the freedom of people harassed and assaulted. Artillery shells are flying all about, ammunition like sacarsism and critisism are selling like hot cakes. Everyone needs to be careful about the Howitzers manned by those warlords as the take no mercy in firing.

So are we still blessed with freedom?
Or has it desserted us?

New Year; New Environment…..

Many things happened in 2008 that turn into memories that I know I'll cherish in the future. Last year I bid farewell to my secondary life and this I enter to the next stage of my life-tertiary studies. 2nd of January was the orientation day at my new place of study. I arrive there and got myself enrolled at about 10 in the morning. After enrolling I suddenly found out plenty of my old school mates are taking the same course with me. In other words, this 10 months course would not be a bore. After the orientation, I went to get myself equipped with the books necessary for the course.

5th of January was the 1st day of class and most of the class were boring cause what's taught were what's known. Besides that, after my 1-2 class I have to wait for 2 hours doing nothing there to wait for my next class Malaysian studies which is compulsory. By the way, I hate that subject cause its astonishing similar to history. The facilities in the campus were fine and most of the lecturers gave interesting lecture. Formerly I have to study for about 28 hours per week and currently I study nearly 33 hours per week. Eiks!! Extra 5 more hours in the lecture room……
